As we have written before, the Dubai police force has more than several supercars and hypercars in its fleet. And now, they have added another coveted car into their collection - the Porsche 918 Spyder.

The 918 fits into the top tier of an already-impressive collection, which includes a Bugatti Veyron, a Ferrari FF, and a Lamborghini Aventador. The fleet is also made up of more “normal” sportscars, like a Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Lexus RC F, and a quite recent addition, the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid.

Under the hood of the hybrid 918 is the same 4.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, paired with two electric motors, that together generate a whopping 887hp. No wonder the 918 Spyder can sprint from standstill to 62mph in just 2.5 seconds!
