Picnicking the Aussie Way

A bunch of blokes are being hunted by the Western Australia Police for driving around Perth on picnic tables. One of the guys had transformed the ordinary tables into motorised vehicles.

The Police has posted online the images of the men hanging out in T-shirts and thongs, citing safety concerns for the ‘riders’ who have no protective garments while cruising the roads alongside motor vehicles.

“There are overall safety concerns particularly if a traffic incident was to occur, resulting in the persons subjecting themselves to potential injury,” said the Police. Besides safety, it is an offence, of course, to drive an unroadworthy vehicle, especially while drinking.

The Police will not be getting much help from the public in their search for the guys. Most of the Facebook commenters are more concerned about a drink being spilled. Good on ya, mates!
