Sarawakian Wins A Drift Experience With Tengku Djan

X-1R’s Facebook Snap & Win contest attracted creative snapshots of contestants posing with X-1R products from across the nation and ended too quickly last November. The winning entry was determined by public vote and the emerging winner is *drum roll* Chua Sheau Tzee! Sarawak represent! Chua finally claimed the coveted Grand Prize (or rather, prizes) last Saturday when she flew across the South China Sea to Kuala Lumpur, where she was greeted by the friendly X-1R team at LCCT. After a hefty welcome lunch at Alexis, she was chauffeured to Impiana KLCC to freshen up before the main event of the day – drifting with Tengku Djan. The prize-giving ceremony at Speed City KL began at 8.00pm with Tengku Djan presenting a 'cheque' to Chua that entitles her to an entire year’s supply of X-1R Product (didn’t we say ‘prizes’?). With the formalities over, it was time to drift!

Chua was bursting with excitement but, admirably, managed to keep her cool as she climbed into the car with Tengku Djan. From this point onwards, the X-1R team could only imagine what it was really like inside the car as they watched, hearts pounding vicariously, as the sports car drifted around the track 6 times, maneuvering the corners at unimaginable speeds. As the vehicle screeched to a stop, Chua emerged with a wide grin on her face. “It was a great experience!” she exclaimed. The memorable day ended with plenty of snapshots of the attendees that night, which seems apt as it was a ‘snap’ contest, after all.
