Close to 100 members, riders and guests came for the launch of X-1R Motorcycle Club Philippines held at the office of BEST Inc, Eton Cyberpod, across from the historic Edsa Shrine along Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, in Quezon City, Manila.
The Club President, Ralph Guttierez, rallied its members to live by the Club’s catalytic, transformative and aggressive Mission and Vision. The Club’s Mission is ‘to become a premiere motorcycle club, taking leadership in instilling road safety consciousness, modeling responsible rider discipline, advocating national transformation and providing economic empowerment to its members’. This is best achieved by its Vision 20-20: to organise and establish X-1R Motorcycle Club in every province and major city throughout the Philippines, reaching 20 000 members by the year 2020.
The Club’s Vice President, Eric Galo, outlined the following activities prioritised for this year:

Its members are given accident insurance (worth PHP100 000 in coverage), an initial unit of X-1R Small Engine Formula, one Live Blood Analysis, X-1R Shirt, access to seminars and trainings, and the use of BEST Lounge for its members. All for an annual membership fee of PHP300.
The launch was attended by X-1R Country Manager, Harold Ledda, CreativeSparx Inc President, Brixton Aw, Best CNO, Kevin Boguero, representatives from Yamaha, Service Advisors from Ford Dealerships and representatives from motoring magazines; among them, Andy Rodriguez, Editor in Chief of Bleed Lifestyle Magazine, and also a motoring correspondent of “C” Magazine.
During the event, 30 items were raffled off by CreativeSparx Inc, Philippines’ X-1R distributor, including X-1R Engine Treatment and other X-1R memorabilia like umbrellas, flashlights and shirts. Dinner was served during the event.
The present Club Officers are Ralph Guttierez (President), Eric Galo (Vice President), Tin Eus (Secretary), Jen Galo (Treasurer) and Ian Ligeralde (PRO). The Club has the strong support of its Board of Advisers: Brixton Aw (CSI President), Harold Ledda (X-1R Country Manager), Andy Rodriguez (Editor in Chief, Bleed Magazine), Kevin Boguero (BEST CNO), and police officer, Rey dela Cruz.
Various provincial and city launches for X-1R Motorcycle Club are expected in the next few months, with the province of Bulacan scheduled for next month where around 300 members are ready to join.
