Cristiano Ronaldo Likes to Show Off His Cars...And We Can't Help But Love It

Cristiano Ronaldo has a not-so-secret passion for cars and isn't shy about it. He often shares pictures of the latest addition to his car collection to his over 128 million followers on Instagram. What does this football ace use to get around when he is in between chasing a ball on the field? Well, here are our top picks, from those that we could realistically hope to own one day to absolutely-no-chance-in-hell.

1) Chevrolet Camaro SS 

Usually our pick for a family car is a practical sedan or SUV, but that wouldn't do for Ronaldo. He drives his mum and son around in a Chevy Camaro, and you can too, for just about US$40,000.

2) Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sports Coupé

Ronaldo added this coupé to his collection sometime around 2004, not long after his career took off and he started playing for Man U. This Mercedes was bought for a mere US$55,000.

3) Ferrari 599 TB Fiorano

Ronaldo actually crashed his Ferrari 599 en route to the airport, once upon a day in 2009, and the entire front end was obliterated. He had just bought the car the year prior for US$310,000. Ronaldo blamed it on moisture and oil on the road, and he passed a breathalyzer test, but there were speculations that he was racing against team mate Edwin van der Sar at that time.

4) Lamborghini Aventador 

The Portugese player gave himself the best 27th birthday present, in the form of this US$450,000 matte black Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Weird Terminator pose, though.

5) Bugatti Chiron

Why stop at one Bugatti when you can get two. Ronaldo already owns a Veyron (top image) which costs around US$1.7 mil, and about 8 months ago, not long after scoring his 411th goal and making his 400th appearance for Real Madrid, he showed off this new beauty on Instagram:

He reportedly paid US$2.5 million for the custom Bugatti Chiron. Here's a reminder of why the Chiron is a magnificent machine: it can churn out a whopping 1,500 hp and 1,180 lb-ft of torque, from its 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine; the century sprint is completed in mere 2.4 seconds, and it goes up to an electronically limited top speed of 261 mph.
