In the automotive world, trying to stand out is a norm, but sometimes people go to the extreme of extremes. The Tokyo Auto Salon 2018 is just the place to display your ride with no-holds-barred lunacy.
Take the case of a certain Mr. Ju Sung Oh. His Toyota Hiace's (yes, Toyota HIACE) mill was replaced by a 3.8L VR38DETT V6 from a Nissan R35!
Producing a monstrous 500 horsepower is crazy enough, but hey, why settle for less? The owner plans to give it a further boost by going to an insane 800 ponies!!
With its cool matte black paint job, AP Racing brakes for that much needed stopping power, 19-inch Yokohama Advan Neova tyres, this really is a van that will blow the uninitiated racer boy away.
Its flared wheel arches, plus a spoiler that tells you it's gonna fly, only adds craziness to this ride, not to mention its key-fob-controlled sliding doors.
In addition, the interior has been upgraded extensively too, with Recaro seats covered in red upholstery and TV screens, this 6-seater is truly out of this world. However crazy it may be, we love this new iteration of the Toyota Hiace.

Imagine this being turned into a monster.
