The Twittersphere was delighted when the Thames Valley Police (from the UK) tweeted that they had arrested Homer Simpson, er, or someone who was trying to pass himself of as the Simpsons' patriach.

Bet that's exactly how the driver reacted (D'oh) after being stopped by the Officer.
The officer stopped the traffic offender in Milton Keynes and asked to see his license, and was handed one that showed the photo of Homer doing his signature "D'oh" gesture, and the address "28 Springfield Way", although Twitter users were quick to point out that the Simpsons live on 742 Evergreen Terrace in Springfield.

The driver couldn't have possibly thought that he could get away with the clearly fake license and if it was a joke, the Police wasn't amused. The driver was reported for driving without a proper license and without insurance, and his vehicle was seized.

Of course, The Simpsons are hardly model citizens, much less in driving.

Drinking while driving...

Not wearing the seat belt and...

Falling asleep behind the wheel...

 No seatbelts, no baby seat...

They even produced games for Playstation called The Simpsons: Road Rage and Hit & Run (the names say it all).

All's left to say about the matter is:

BAKE HIM AWAY, TOYS!
