Recently, the Hyundai Tucson was named the Most Dependable Small SUV in a report by J.D. Power.

Having started life way back in 2004 and named after the city of Tucson, Arizona, this SUV has grown in leaps and bounds. The latest results in J.D. Power’s 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) shows the Tucson ranking highest in its class, beating out leading competitors.

“In one of the most competitive segments in the industry, Tucson places highest in its class. Hyundai is committed to providing customers with high-value vehicles that withstand the test of time,” said Barry Ratzlaff, Vice President of Customer Satisfaction, Hyundai Motor America.

“The quality and dependability of our models is important to reassuring owners that we care about their Hyundai experience beyond their initial purchase at the dealership. The results for Santa Fe and Tucson show, as our CUV lineup expands, long-term quality will be a real strength for us,” he added.

As a whole, Hyundai placed an impressive sixth in the entire industry and third-best in the non-premium category, lowering its 'problems experienced per 100 vehicles' (PP100) by nine.

Being the official car sponsor for World Cup 2018 in Russia, this surely adds another feather in Hyundai's illustrious cap.
