The Vanguish Zagato Concept caused quite the excitement on the shores of Lake Como last month. The last in a long line of coach-built vehicles, Zagato can name past collaborators such as the likes of Ferrari, Jaguar, Maserati and Lamborghini, and this time it dressed Aston Martin's Vanquish for the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2016.
A wide array of design elements were a nod to the British marque’s past models. Besides the visual styling, the engineers had managed to squeeze an extra 24hp out of the 5.9-litre V12 engine, pushing the total output to 592hp. With that, the car should be able to propel from zero to 100 in less than four seconds, and onward to a top speed of 201mph.
X-Tomi decided to render his own interpretation of the Zagato concept car, by slicing away the roof and turning it into a convertible, taking the drama up another notch. What do you think?
