Even if you’re not a motorcycle enthusiast, these two customised BMW motorcycles by Japanese custom shops will definitely impress you. Even if you ARE a bike lover, you might not realize that these are the BMW’s as they have been modified way beyond its original design.
Kenji Nagai of Ken’s Factory and Keiji Kawakita of Hot-Dock Custom-Cycles converted the flagship BMW K1600 GTL into two bikes that are starkly different: Nagai’s ‘Ken’s Factory Special’ transformed it into a digger-style chopper while Kawakita’s ‘Juggernaut’ looks like it belongs in the fictional world of Mad Max: Fury Road. Both maintained the K1600’s straight-six engine and frame.
Nagai explained his approach: “I always try to create something beautiful, right down to the finest details." He adds, "I love the power of the engine underneath you, that thumping torque."
