Ferrari Portofino Tour Kicks Off

The Ferrari Portofino embarks on a grand tour crisscrossing Europe and covering 60 cities. The starting point? The famous town of Liguria, of course.

The town is a famous holiday destination, with a picturesque harbour and historical association with celebrity and artistic visitors. It lends its name to the Prancing Horse’s grand touring sports car and played host to the world premiere attended by hundreds of clients last September.

There will be 20 new examples in which invited guests get to enjoy the journey and experience the driving characteristics of this stunning convertible in a variety of road conditions.

Replacing the California T, this beauty is the most powerful convertible to combine the advantages of a retractable hard top, a roomy boot and generous cockpit space, plus two rear seats suitable for short trips.

The Ferrari Portofino comes with a twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 with 591 hp and 760 Nm of torque under the hood. It clocks 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, and reaches a claimed top speed of more than 320 km/h.

Three alternative itineraries will crisscross very different terrains, ranging from the rolling Tuscan hills to the slopes of the Alps, the Cote d’Azur, the Scandinavian Peninsula, Stockholm Bay and the Port of Belfast.

What more can one ask for when you’re in a gorgeous looking car, exploring routes that you will only find on a postcard…Oh ya, and you’ve your mates with you too.
